Description

You are bidding on a World War II U.S. Army Signal Corps official photo depicting the damaged nose of a B 25 bomber in North Africa dated 3/7/43.  The photo measures approximately 8" tall and 10" wide.  The following is stamped in purple ink on the back:  "SC 170193 Nose of a B 25 bomber, showing the damage by bullets and shrapnel.  North Africa.  3/7/43."  Also stamped in green ink is "Signal Corps Photo Please Credit Released for Publication by Bureau of Public Relations War Department".  There is also a sticker on the back with the same typed description of the photo.  The numbers "170193 6821" are handwritten in pencil on the back.  The "Signal Corps U.S. Army" logo is in the lower left corner of the photo (logo is hard to read) and the number "170193" is in the lower right corner.  The photo does not lie flat but is in good condition.  The corners show wear including creasing, curling and discoloration.  The photo also has some areas of minor paper loss.
