Up for consideration is a Vintage Rubsam & Horrmann Brewing CO. NEW YORK HARBOR Advertising poster/ Print with CHARLES ROSNER art work.
What a rare piece to add to your collection. Original vintage print Compliments of Rubsam and Horrmann Brewing Company. Print shows the New York Harbor by Charles Rosner, Staten Island, New York. This piece is 30+ years old due to brewery closing in the early 1950s. Item is framed with a yellow gold colored frame. There are some wear to frame all around. Please see photos. Print shows beautiful colors. There is some discoloration such as yellowing due to age. The old Staten Island ferry boat is in the photo but if you look closely you will notice a red R and H beer truck on the lower level along side passengers. There was a time when Staten Island ferry allowed passenger cars board. A very nice addition to print. There is also the view of the Statue of Liberty in the harbor. A wonderful concept of the early of the New York Harbor. R&H brewery closed in the early 1950s, therefore dating this print. The frame of print measures 14 X 16. Original letter is included with print and should serve as a COA for the print. Letter was found inside frame behind print when opened to examine and photograph print. Unfortunately letter has been cut most likely to cover addressee information. I am not the original owner of this item. Print came to from a collector.
