Vintage Platinum Diamond French Art Deco watch with Antique Box oh so Classy!

A super classy and European Art Deco piece, this wrist watch is made with solid platinum and 18 genuine sparkly old mine cut white clear diamonds. Because old cut stones are often deeper and weigh more, it's hard to know their exact weight, but it's estimated to be a little under half carat, the biggest stones are about 2mm wide.
The design and beauty of this piece is so precise, that although the diamonds on the top and bottom match each other in terms of proportion, they are all of slightly different sizes, for example the row of five diamonds goes in gradually, making the middle one the biggest in the rows. Something rarely seen in modern pieces!
A fine example of the Art Deco period, the straight lined platinum metal on top and its details on the side is just incredible. The watch is mechanical, which needs winding, and fully functional, it is hallmarked platinum with the dog's head stamped on the side if you look closely on one of the pictures.
There is a small watch and the leather band when stretched out is just a little over 16 cm long, however the leather band can easily be replaced with a longer one. The face is about 29mm long by 12mm wide. While the main body of the watch is solid platinum, the rings around the leather and clasp are probably not.
There is a small scratch on the face of the watch as you can see,
visible but not really noticeable and does not distract from telling the time. With this the piece is offered at a lower price. And yes it does come with the antique box pictured!
