Vintage Nancy Ann MUFFIE in 1957 Plaid School Styles #501 - So Sweet!

I am downsizing my personal collection, so will be offering many wonderful vintage dolls over the coming months.

Adorable
1957 Muffie Plaid School Styles
with thick brunette braids tied with red ribbons. She is
wearing a tagged
School Styles #501
outfit consisting of a blue, red, & yellow plaid taffeta dress, with short sleeves trimmed in mustard organdy and a wide organdy mustard colored collar with attached red grossgrain ribbon and matching taffeta plaid bloomers (waistband stretched & needs a stitch in back). The dress closes in the back with a single brass donut snap. Muffie is certainly fashion coordinated with her blue unmarked side-snap shoes, white socks, and navy purse which completes this darling outfit. A new white net slip will be included as a bonus to fill out her dress!
This outfit is documented on p. 134 & pictured on p. 149 of "The Muffie Puzzle Almost Solved' by Lillian Roth.
Muffie is in good, clean, vintage condition with working walker, loose arms, though they will hold a pose. She is marked on her back: Storybook Dolls //California//MUFFIE. She has molded lashes and blue sleep eyes that open and close easily, painted upper lashes and eyebrows. Her thick brunette braids are in their original style tied with new red ribbons.  This little Muffie is simply adorable!
No odors, smoke free environment.   Pictures are an important part of the description, so do inspect carefully.
As with all vintage items, minor imperfections are expected. I will always do my best to describe these dolls to the best of my ability, but please ask questions if something is missing or you need more information.
