Vintage Miller NFL Pittsburgh Steelers Neon Beer Sign 1992
The Miller NFL Pittsburgh Steelers Neon Beer Sign is in very good condition and lights up nicely.
The neon is a sharp, vivid yellow when lit, though in the pictures it appears to be light yellow-ish or white-ish.
The yellow neon tubing has a few spots where the yellow has worn off or has possibly been touched up a bit. These appear as white spots when the light is on. There’s a small spot in the letter “i” where the black paint has come off (the black area between the part of the letter and where the “i” is dotted). The “Miller” lettering is approximately 18 inches across.
The Steelers lettering and NFL design are printed on a thin piece of black plastic and are in very good shape. It looks like this piece is interchangeable as it can be slid in or out (should you have another sheet to replace it with). The plastic has a bit of bending to it on the left edge. Behind the plastic is some neon tubing that lights up to create a nice lighting affect for the lettering and logo.
The metal framing bars are in good shape but do have some rust at the bottom areas of the metal rods.
There is a tinted Plastic or Plexiglas sheet along the back of the sign. It is in good shape, but does have some scuffs and rough spots, particularly along the bottom edge. It is securely attached to the framing bars.
The transformer has the following labels on it:
(1) Miller Genuine Draft – Antojitos 1992 Item 17-53354 (This label has a tear in it and the left half of it has come unglued from the transformer.)

There is a pull chain on the right side of the transformer that will turn the sign on and off. We tested it a few times and it is working fine.
The power cord is a bit over 5 Feet long (approximately 63 inches) and in good shape. The plug looks to be in good shape.
The Sign measures about 26 inches across (measured horizontally from the [lower] left edge to the right [upper] edge of the plexiglass). The Sign measures about 19 inches high (Bottom to Top of vertical metal framing bars). The sign is about 6.5 Inches Deep (From the back of the transformer to the front tips of the metal framing bars).
We
are listing this as Local Pickup only at this time. The sign is currently stored at another location, so we would need a day or so to retrieve it.
We would also be available to meet for pickup at a mutually agreed upon location/date/time within a One-Hour or so drive of the 08243 Area Code. We would also be willing to travel a greater distance, but would need some to ask for some reimbursement for gas and tolls.
