ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Vintage 1950s 8" Walker NASB Muffie Doll Blue Eyed Platinum Blond - has RED STAIN ON BODY
Cute vintage blue eyed, platinum blond Muffie doll with pretty facial paint, long, mohair wig, sleep eyes with molded  lashes and very lightly painted lashes and eyebrows. Good condition torso, legs and arms. Muffie is made of hard plastic and jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. She is a walker and not marked on her back. She is wearing an original
red and white sateen
dress with pleated white accents
. It opens down the back and closes with a metal snap. It does not have an attached slip or tag. She is holding an unmarked red purse. On her face red sun glasses. On her head a white and red hat held on with an elastic chin strap. On her feet, white nylon socks and red, unmarked, no heel, side button shoes.
Underneath she wears white, lace trimmed panties.
CONDITION:
Good played with condition. Face paint is good and original with good lip paint, lightly painted, faded eyelashes and eyebrows. Clear, sleep eyes with molded lashes that are stuck open. Mohair wig is thinning, not in the original set, with many fly-aways and quite messy. Perfect fingers and toes. Walking mechanism is stiff (these dolls all seem to be) but works well. Arms do not hold a pose. Skin surface is clean but has red or pink stains (probably from clothing) on her stomach and on the back of one leg. Also, face is slightly darker.  No seam splits, bites or cracks. No hard plastic odor. Dress is in good condition. The snap at the waist is working. Vintage hat is in good condition.
It has a replaced chin strap. Sunglasses and purse are in good condition. Socks are nylon. Shoes are free of damage and are not marked. Panties are not original Muffie. She will come with her stand.
MARK: Not marked.
MEASUREMENTS: 8" tall.
Will ship via First Class Mail wrapped in tissue and craft paper at about 15 oz.
