ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Vintage 1950s 8" Bent Knee Walker NASB Muffie Doll Blue Eyed Golden Blond.
Cute vintage blue eyed, golden blond Muffie doll with pretty facial paint, long, Saran wig, sleep eyes with molded and painted lashes, no eyebrows and pretty lips. Good condition torso, legs and arms. Muffie is made of hard plastic and jointed at the neck, shoulders, knees and hips. She is a bent knee walker and is marked on her back. She is wearing an unknown dress without attached slip, in blue and white with wide organdy collar.
It opens down the back and closes with a ribbon. On her head a navy blue wide brim horse hair hat that is held on with a chin strap.
Underneath she wears blue satiny bloomer style panties and a blue tulle petticoat
. On her feet, white nylon socks and black side button heeled unmarked shoes.
CONDITION:
Good played with condition. Face paint is good and original with good lip paint, well indicated light eyelashes and no eyebrows. Clear, working sleep eyes with molded lashes. Saran wig is thick with some fly- aways. Perfect fingers and toes. Walking mechanism is stiff (these dolls all seem to be) but works well. Knees bend. Arms can hold a pose. Skin surface is clean and even toned - except face is slightly darker.  No seam splits, bites, stains or cracks. No hard plastic odor. Dress is in good condition. The ribbon at waist may be a replacement. Vintage hat is in good condition. Socks are nylon - a little stretched out at the ankle. One shoe looks damaged in the photos but it is a reflection - they are not damaged. Panties and tulle are in good condition. She will come with her stand.
