All Vinyl "Long Locks"
Sweet, had been marked (barely visible on neck even with magnifier) Nancy Ann
Also marked clearly 8-5 on her lower back.
Only Long Locks and Dutch Bob were marked in this manner on their backs.
8" all vinyl doll with long curly locks and beautiful light blue eyes.
She is
Type #3 Nancy Ann Lori Ann 1958 Long Locks All Vinyl in Vintage or Vintage Style Dress and carrying her vintage green purse shown in one of the photos.
Lori Ann and Lori Ann Muffie are described to some degree in the
Small dolls of the 40's & 50's Identification Guide
on page 152.
Long Locks Lori Ann is harder to find than Dutch Bob
and is not pictured in this particular book.
This sweet Lori Ann is in excellent condition for this fairly hard to find 1958 doll.
There are no odors or grunge of any kind and there are a NO stains on her vinyl from prior outfits as is often the case with the vintage dolls.
Her hair is all there and her joints are tight.
Her dress I believe was handmade in her style.
Her Maryjanes and Purse are unmarked
and were sold that way as Muffie extras.
Panties and stockings are vintage.
One stocking has a tiny hole near the toe.

The different types of Lori Ann dolls can be a bit of a mystery from reading this book.
