    Description

Trade card from the Pan-American Expo in Buffalo NY in 1901. Illustration on the front shows the world with the continents of North and South America personified as two beautiful women whose hands are clasped to symbolize the connection between the two continents in Central America. Back says that the expo was being held "to celebrate the achievements of civilization during 100 years of development in the Western Hemisphere". Has a very long list of facts and things you can expect to see at the expo like the electricity building, the immense grand court, and more.
