    Description

Surfy Industries SurfyBear Compact Spring Reverb (Fiesta Red) MINT Condition.
Up for sale is a Mint Condition SurfyBear Compact Spring Reverb Pedal in Fiesta Red. I purchased this in September of last year, and it really hasn't seen much use. It's in mint condition and because of the fragility of the springs inside the pedal, I've always taken extra care when handling or using it. It's perfectly functional and has no history of problems or issues. It's never been gigged with or even taken outside of my home. I'm simply selling it because I just don't find myself using it that often. I originally purchased it to function with a Marshall amp that didn't have any reverb and would run it through the fx loop. However, I sold that amp, and the other amps I own have some form of reverb built into the amp. It's based off of the SurfyBear Classic Reverb, which is modeled after the original Fender 6G15 Reverb Units. The main difference is that the SurfyBear uses JFET transistor technology, instead of tubes. Therefore, there's no tube maintenance.
I compared the SurfyBear Compact Reverb and SurfyBear Classic V2.0 side by side, and found that the SurfyBear Classic, much like the Fender Units, slightly darkens the tone of your guitar signal. In my opinion, if you're looking for something practical rather than vintage sounding, I would say the SurfyBear Compact is the way to go over the SurfyBear Classic V2.0, but that's my opinion. I found the volume level controls to be very useful, and the fact that you can have two settings for the reverb is very useful. If you have any questions or would like more photos, feel free to send me a message! Thanks for looking!
