Rare Eric Clapton/Stevie Ray Vaughan Last Concert Ticket Stub August 26th, 1990. Shipped with USPS First Class. Sunday, August 26, 1990 – Stevie Ray Vaughan walks on stage at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin before a sold-out crowd of 30,000. It would be his final show. On Friday, August 24, SRV played the Kalamazoo County Fair in Michigan, before joining Eric Clapton for two shows over the weekend at Alpine Valley. Sharing the Alpine bills with Clapton and SRV were The Robert Cray Band featuring The Memphis Horns.
This Very Rare Ticket stub is in Excellent Condition considering the age! Only been in possession of seller. It is housed in a heavy lucite protective display case. Included in this auction is the Chicago Sun Times Newspaper Front Page article and page 6 layout of the tragic accident. Newspaper dated August 28th, 1990. The day after the tragedy. Condition is incredible considering age, no tears. Framed is a strong recommendation. Extraordinary Auction!
