I am a ProCAT, Stenograph, Baron Data, and Xscribe Authorized Service Provider.
I have been servicing the court reporting industry since 1984.
I service, repair, and adjust the following court reporting writers for both local and shipping customers:
- All Xscribe models - Stenorams, Ultra, FirstCat, Vision486
- All Stenograph writers - Manual, Steno-lectric, Smartwriter, Stenturas, Elan Miras,
Elan C
ybras, Diamantes, Wave, and Luminex
- All Baron Data writers - Transcriptors
- All ProCAT writers - Prowriters, Flash, Stylus, Impression, and Expression
- All Eclipse writers - Passports
I also refurbish Stentura and Xscribe writers ribbon cartridges
This listing is for the complete refurbishment of a
(ONE)
Stenograph Stentura ribbon cartridge (also used in ProCAT Flash and Stylus writers) that is shipped to me by buyer.

Once the buyer clicks on "buy it now", buyer proceeds to pay.
Once buyer proceeds to pay, I contact buyer to make sure buyer understands that transaction is for a "service" and not a "purchase".
Once buyer acknowledges that transaction is for a "service and not a "purchase" I proceed to provide buyer with shipping address so that buyer can ship ribbon cartridge(s) to me.
Buyer proceeds to ship ribbon cartridge(s) to me.  Buyer maybe asked to provide me tracking number of shipment so I can get an idea of when shipment is expected to arrive.
Once shipment arrives I inform buyer of shipment arrival and proceed to refurbish ribbon cartridge(s).
I inform buyer once I am ready to ship back ribbon cartridge(s) to buyer shipping address provided to me by buyer. I
normally ship back 2 to 3 days after ribbon cartridge arrives.
Once ribbon cartridge(s) has been delivered back to buyer, I proceed to email buyer proper inking instructions with pictures and video.
Complete ribbon cartridge refurbishment procedure: (Please see all pictures)
- picture 1 = Worn out ribbon cartridge
- picture 2 = Cartridge taken apart
- picture 3 = Cartridge further disassembled and cleaned. Worn parts replaced.
- picture 4 = Ink spools evaluated. Replaced if worn out or hardened.
- picture 5 = Ribbon material evaluated. Replaced if worn out.
- picture 6 = Assembled, re-inked, and fully tested refurbished ribbon cartridge.
- picture 7 = Ribbon cartridge placed back into plastic or cardboard shell for shipping.
I have been refurbishing both Stenograph and Xscribe writer ribbon cartridges for over 15 years.
My refurbish labor warranty is for
3 months
once buyer receives back ribbon cartridge.
