Rare Stevie Ray Vaughan & Eric Clapton 1990 Ticket Voucher SRV Final Concert.
These FOUR promotional tickets came from a local radio station and were for the last show of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, August 26, 1990 at Alpine Valley Music Theater In East Troy, Wisconsin. On the morning of August 27, 1990, 35 year old Stevie Ray Vaughan was killed in a helicopter crash on August 27, 1990 along with three members of Eric Clapton’s entourage and the pilot. They crashed into the side of a nearby ski hill shortly after takeoff. SRV and Double Trouble were the opening act for Eric Clapton. The Robert Cray Band and the Memphis Horns also played the concert.
These four tickets were won and not used. If you look closely, you can see that 25 & were crossed off, making this ticket ONLY for August 26.
All four tickets are in very nice shape for their age. They have been stored away in a drawer for all of these years.
