Photo Album WWII & Post WWII Eagles Nest, Soldiers Barracks, Homes in Ruins

C. 1945 / 50 photo album depicting the ' before and after ' of the Eagle's Nest, surrounding homes and barracks in Obersalzberg, Bavaria, Germany. Each page with a hand written caption. The pages are separated with a glassine sheet. There are twenty six photographs which includes a panorama taped together on the front page. The tape to the photo on the far right has come come apart and would need to be reattached. It apears as if a few pages are missing or perhaps were not used and were neatly trimmed from the album - I can not be certain. On the reverse of the back cover is hand written ' Souvenir Shop L. Schmitz, Obersalzberg '. The right hand edge of the front and back cover are just slightly curled. The album measures 9 3/4" x 6 3/4" inches. Will be well packed and shipped Priority Mail.
