A scarce old circa 1960 lighted beer brewery advertising sign. This one is advertising Regal Premium Beer. From The Anheuser Busch Inc. of St Louis Missouri MO, Newark NJ, Los Angeles CA, Miami Florida and Tampa FL. Nice early 1960's era sign with graphics showing 2 couples on a sail boat. The sign measures 18-1/4" x 12" x 3-3/4" deep. The sign is marked as made by: Tel-A-Sign Inc. of Chicago Illinois IL. The sign is made up of a metal lighted cabinet with a plastic or acetate insert backed plastic front panel. Has hardware along the cabinet's top edge for this to be hung behind a bar or in a window. Condition as shown fair to good with some surface wear and displays well. The plastic front of the sign has a diagonal crack on the bottom left side measuring roughly 9". The crack is shown close up in the 3rd and 11th photos. I am guessing there were other signs made up like this out there and finding a replacement front panel down the road is a possibility.... Despite the crack this sign lights up and displays fairly well as shown. Rare sign this is the only one that I have seen.
