    Description

NGC MS64 1901 Buffalo pan- American Exposition Bronze/Gilt Gold Medal
Rare! If you collect medals this is a must have for your collection. This large 2 1/2 inch Medal is a bronze/gilt Gold Medal from the 1901 Buffalo Pan-American Exposition awarded to Edwin E. Howell, a famous cartographer (map maker). His relief maps were considered the finest ever made and many of his maps are in museums with his most famous map of Yellowstone National Park on prominent display in the Park’s Visitors Center.
It comes shipped it an NGC coin holder as I spent the extra time and money to get the Medal authenticated and graded by NGC. At a rating of MS64 that makes this Medal the 3rd highest rating they’ve ever given for this Medal.
Other examples of this Gold Medal with lesser ratings have recently gone for 00-3000 so I’m selling this at a very competitive price (reducing some of my collection for space).
So if you’re been looking for gold medals for your collection don’t miss out on this great example. It may not last the 7 days of this auction!!
Shipping done by first class mail in a custom shipping carton. I usually ship within 24 hours of payment if the auction ends on Sun-Thur.
