VooDoo Ranger Lifesize Bust
I felt compelled to create this piece. I call it art, I guess you are the judge of that, haha.
I love this family of beers from NEW BELGIUM. They are creative, delicious, nothing like their presentation. I researched the “VooDoo Ranger” from their info. I never really found any definitive inspiration or direction. So…I decided to let MY MIND do this job. To me the “Ranger” was a lost or forgotten WW2 vet. Yes, a pilot but really any soldier. US, British, any Allied soldier. This creation takes military pieces from 1872 to Vietnam. NO LIMITS.
The Uniform: Jacket is actual uniform from Vietnam period. The shoulder boards are 1872 officer artillery representation. The Ranger Hat is an Eagle Scout hat from the 1950-60s. The hat decoration is a Spanish-American War replica pin, Goggles are WW2 replica, Flyer’s head cap is a WW2 remake, etc.
I really didn’t want to sell my Ranger, but here he is for you to view, and if you really love him…
