  • Condition: This is a Vintage NASB Nancy Ann Story Book MUFFIE Doll that is one of the earlier strung dolls with no eyebrows. Her pretty blue eyes remain open with no blush cheeks and red lips. Her reddish hair is soft and needs styling with the left side a bit thin. She can stand well and her arms can be posed. She's marked Story Book Dolls California on her back. Her body, arms and legs are in good condition with a few light marks or rubs on them. Muffie wears a nice, clean and crisp outfit that is a plaid taffeta fabric with gold trim. It has a secure donut snap on the back. There is a tiny cut or scratch in the fabric that doesn’t go all the way through on the left side of dress in the red area (please see photo 11 in the center area; real hard to see). They also made one sleeve longer than the other side. Matching pants are nice, clean and crisp with good elastic. Shoes are black with unmarked heels and are in good condition with some rubs-marks.     Description

    This is a Vintage NASB Nancy Ann Story Book MUFFIE Doll that is one of the earlier strung dolls with no eyebrows. She is a little sweetheart with pretty blue eyes that remain open, no blush cheeks and red lips. Her reddish hair is soft and needs styling with the left side a bit thin now. She can stand well and her arms can be posed which makes it fun. She is marked Story Book Dolls California on her back side. Her body, arms and legs are in good condition with a few light marks or rubs on them.
    Muffie wears a nice, clean and crisp outfit that is a plaid taffeta fabric with gold trim on the neck and sleeves. It has a secure donut snap that closes on the back side. This dress has just been stored and not put on a doll but noticed two things that we want to mention. There is a tiny cut or scratch in the fabric that doesn’t go all the way through on the left side of dress in the red area (please see photo in the center area; real hard to see this). The second thing is that they made one sleeve trim longer than the other sleeve when they produced it.  Such an adorable dress on this Muffie!  The matching pants are also nice, clean and crisp with great elastic on waist and legs. The shoes are black unmarked heel shoes and fit her well with some light marks of rubs on them.  A sweet little Muffie to add to your collection!
