Here we have an original 1967 EP-2 Maestro Green Tube Echoplex.  It is in very good and fully functional condition.
Our technician of 35 years has fully gone thru the unit replacing the tape with a fresh one as well as replacing the roller with a new one we had to special order.  Since he has been working on these units since the mid 70's he had no problem making the necessary adjustments, cleaning, and repairs.  I tested the unit myself and it works perfectly as it should and sounds excellent.  There is some slight light very quiet backround noise but nothing that effects sound or performance.
Note: Output jack was added and that is a very common accepted practice.
Our tech said we could probably replace the motor to get rid of that slight noise but really I do not find that necessary.  Again, except for the above mentioned tape and roller the unit is 100% original including the power cord.  The pots date the 48th. week of 1967 and note that the metal tape cover is missing.
