This is an AMAZING work of ART. Alot went into this piece--both in consideration for design and actual pactice of the work. The knife itself is tri-flow mahogany obsidian (that is red, black and some clear) flaked superbly--that is to say even flake lines coupled with a sharp thin edge acheived without reworking....one of my unique assests. Its sharp and straight with an even edge top and bottom. The handle is cobolah burl, claro walnut, buckeye burl and two colors of buffalo horn all polished to a brilliant lustre....thats right--i said polished not sprayed. The stand is BEAUTIFUL Etimoe wood and streaked buffalo horn on both the ends of the stand and the tops of the two towers. Knife is 9 3/8" -- the stand is 7 5/16" x 3" x 2 1/2" high. The ensemble height is 3 7/8".
