A Whopping 12 Delay Modes
This pedal almost has too many amazing delay effects. Besides Echo, Mod, Multi, and Reverse delay modes, this pedal has a DMM setting to replicate the old EHX bucket-brigade delay pedal, a Tape delay setting, and Shim mode – for an octave shift that creates what can only be described as shimmering sound. There's also Drum mode, which creates a magnetic drum echo with playback configurations, as well as Double mode, which beefs up a mono signal or adds a stereo spread.
Full-Featured Looper
Still reeling from trying to process that much delay? Well hang on because you're about to be thrown through a loop. The Grand Canyon also has a fully featured looper which can record up to 16 minutes at a time. The looper feature allows unlimited overdubs, undo/redo, dedicated stop button, fade-out, reverse and speed adjust. To top it all off, the audio loop remains in the Grand Canyon until you erase it, even after power is removed from the pedal.
Vibrant Face Graphics
This Electro-Harmonix pedal sports a solid white base with super cool canyon graphic in the center. Its name is written in black "old western" style script above the image. Two metallic footswitches sit in the bottom corners. The red print labeling the knobs and buttons stands out despite its tiny size. It’s all a part of this pedal's grand design.
