Antique 1919 Elgin Art Deco Womens 14k Gold 15 Jewels Wrist Pocket Watch Pendant

I am a volunteer who helps to sell donated items that will benefit our local Humane Society
I am not an expert on watches of precious metals but try my best at doing the research.
We received
this very pretty and interesting Elgin watch
as a generous donation
to
raise funds to help take care of the dogs and cats at the shelter until we find their “forever” home.
All proceeds go directly to the Humane Society.
The watch can be worn as a wrist, pocket or pendant.  It does not run continuously, just a bit and then stops.  The case, crystal and band are in very good condition.
The back of the case is Monogrammed "RM" and inside it is engraved "Rose Mertz Christmas 1919."  Also inside the case is stamped "ROY 14kt 585 Fine 854925"
The band is was made in the USA by Hadley and is gold tone.
