    Description

    Vehicle Details
Here's a very nice 65 Red Convertible with a new white top. It's a 6 cyl, automatic that runs well, goes down the road straight and will give a Ford Falcon Futura lover a fun car for years to come. Many dollars have been spent on this great little car and while there are a couple of things  that still should be done, the owner passed away recently and didn't have a chance to complete the restoration.I will list the items that were purchased and installed and then list a couple of items  that need attention. Items purchased and installed include New door panels, arm rests, convertible top boot, trunk mat, interior header bar, interior uprights, rear ash trays and inserts, and seat hinge covers.  (total 05). Complete new upholstery and installation (51),Exhaust manifold gaskets and donuts (), # pages of interior items (2),  new Battery (), Front and rear bumpers (10), AM/FM/I Pod radio (0, Convertible roof rail seals (6) Total owner spent in the past 2 years is 08. All these items were purchased and installed in 2019 and early 2020 prior to the owners death. There are 2 items that need attention. Trunk hinges are weak and should be replaced and there is some kind of noise coming from the right front brake area when the brakes are applied .A mechanic friend of mine say it appears to be a bad ball joint. While the speedometer shows 24,000 miles it is obvious that it is actually 124,000 miles. At a cruise nite in 2020 the owner told me that the engine was rebuilt prior to his buying it and while it runs lke it was rebuilt with good acceleration and no motor noises, there is not a copy of the rebuild. The owners wife has asked me to sell the car for her. I am not a registered dealer  but do represent, as a broker, individuals who want their classics, customs and street rods sold on various sites on the internet, I do have a letter of authorization signed by the seller which gives me authority to sell a the vehicle, collect payment and transfer all paperwork to a new owner, I prefer wire transfers for payment. It protects both the buyer and seller and allows the buyer to check, thru the sellers bank, that he is actually who he says he is. I also have a long term relationship with a friend here who is a shipping broker and can furnish transportation of a vehicle anywhere in the world. If you would like to discuss any aspects of this great little Ford Falcon convertible, you can call me at 585-314-8000. Thanks, Brian Page
