This is a little firecracker. The colors pop and the stroker motor makes it rip! Clean original metal, upgraded mechanics. Ready for show and go.
EXTERIOR: Original California built car and it lived there the first 37 years of it's life. No rust work ever, all original body. It is completely straight, the gaps are real nice. Doors click shut like a new car. Painted Viper silver. The metal flake us laid out evenly, the clear coat is polished very smooth and glossy. Even the jambs are slick. Weather strips and window seals were replaced. In front the bumper is rechromed, the grill and the trim is excellent. The moldings down the side are very nice. All the stainless trim around the windows and 9n top of the doors is very nice. New mirrors and emblems. Rear bumper is new. Chrome 18 inch Coy's wheels with performance tires.
INTERIOR: The bright red interior really pops! I'm sitting inside the car right now, it's in beautiful condition. New red carpet and reproduction floor mats. The seats have new reproduction upholstery front and back. The original door panels are excellent. New headliner and visors, the dome light works, the mirror looks new. Dash pad is new, the chrome bezels on the dash sparkle. The shift indicator is correct for an overdrive. It has a vintage style tachometer and a water pressure and oil pressure gauge. It also has a retro stereo in the factory location and kick panel speakers. The glove box liner is new, the light works.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: it has a hand built 383 stroker making about 410 horsepower. New Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection. New MSD ignition with pro billet distributor. The aluminum intake was powder coated, it has some really nice finned aluminum valve covers and a chrome Powermaster alternator.. It has headers. She runs cool with an aluminum Champion radiator, electric fan and shroud. It has an overflow bottle. New master cylinder. The firewall is painted silver, the rest of it is smooth clean metal painted semi gloss black.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rock solid, uncut original metal. It was spatter painted gray and white. Under the trunk lid and the jamb is painted smooth and glossy silver. The weatherstrip was replaced. The valve for the air shocks is inside the trunk.
UNDERSIDE: Church Boys Racing front end conversion. It includes relocated tubular control arms, fat tubular support bar, rack & pinion steering, QA1 adjustable coilover gas shocks. In back it has air shocks. It has a custom stainless exhaust system with x-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. The brakes are redone, it has a Corvette disc brake conversion in front. The hoses and lines have been replaced. Looking up at the motor it's extra clean, it has an anodized oil pan and a high torque starter. Upgraded overdrive automatic trans with an aluminum pan, G-Force support bar and a remote oil cooler. 10 bolt rear end with 3.31 posi gears and Moser axles. New CPP fuel tank conversion with internal electric pump. tank, lines, fuel pump.
This is a cool hot rod. I heard several co workers say it's a good one. Sharp looking, detailed throughout and a blast to drive!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

About Volo Auto Museum
No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum. Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960. We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos. For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion. Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.
Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful. We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after. Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift. No reasonable request will be turned down.
Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you. We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s. Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner. This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own. We invest approximately 00 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you. So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
