1957 ~ MUFFIE DOLL~ SWEATER & SKIRT OUTFIT ~ TOO CUTE!! ~ NANCY ANN

Description

Up for your consideration is a sweet little Muffie Outfit that is from around 1957. Nancy Ann made a variety of these skirt outfits and several are shown on page 147 in the book "The Muffle Puzzle - New Pieces" by Lillian Roth and Heather Maciak. You will receive the sweater, skirt, panties, socks and shoes. A complete outfit. Please look at all the photos and use the enlarger as the photos are part of my description. If you have any questions, please ask them before you bid.
This light pink sweater is an original Muffie sweater. It has a collar, cuffs and waist band and closes with three snaps down the front. Now, looking at this sweater, you would not notice but, there are several tiny mends in the fabric. They are so hard to see. Whoever mended this made teeny tiny stitches. It is also discolored with age but, a light soak in oxi-clean would bright that right up.
The light blue cotton skirt has darker blue polka dots printed in rows. There is an attached blue vinyl belt with a large white painted donut snap in the center of the belt. It also closes in the back with a white painted donut snap and has a "Nancy Ann" tag sewn on the inside. This skirt is in excellent condition with no holes, tears or stains. The fabric is clean and the colors are bright. The snap is secure and the tag is shiny. In fact, it almost feels new!
The vintage pink taffeta panties have loopy picot trim. They are also in very good condition.
The vintage blue rayon socks are original Muffie socks. One sock has a tiny snag right on the seam line but, that will be hidden when the sock is on. Otherwise, they are in very good condition.
The light pink side-button Mary Jane shoes are "Ginnette" shoes with flat soles. I picked this pair because they are a lighter pink than most of my pink shoes and go with this outfit better. They are in very good condition with knobs and straps intact.
Shipping is .00 by First Class Mail and includes tracking. I will carefully pack this outfit in a small box so it arrives safe and sound to you.
