1957 ~ MUFFIE DOLL~ #406 "SPECIAL DRESSES" OUTFIT ~ NANCY ANN

Description

Up for your consideration is Muffie's #406-5 Outfit from the Special Dresses of 1957. This outfit is shown on page 147 in the book "The Muffle Puzzle - New Pieces" by Lillian Roth and Heather Maciak. You will receive the dress, panties, socks and shoes. A complete outfit. Please look at all the photos and use the enlarger as the photos are part of my description. If you have any questions, please ask them before you bid.
The taffeta dress has a red bodice with a red and white striped gathered skirt. The neck and sleeves are trimmed in white lace and the front waist is adorned in a wide red rick-rack belt with gold thread running through it. It closes in the back with a red painted donut snap. This dress is in very nice condition with no holes, tears or stains. I did glue a small section of the lace trim on the right sleeve but, it's at the very end in the back and looks nice. You can't even tell but, I just wanted to let you know. The snap is secure and there are no other problems. This dress is really beautiful.
The vintage white panties are old store stock that I purchased a while ago on eBay. These are the same panties that Nancy Ann used in her later years and are appropriate for this dress.
The vintage white rayon socks are original Muffie socks but, are stretched. And, one socks has a tiny run right at the toe. However, they are clean and will be fine for display once you get them on.
The red side-button Mary Jane shoes are marked "Ginnette" on the bottoms. They are in good condition with knobs and straps intact. I just don't have a lot of red shoes. But, this is a nice pair and will fit Muffie perfectly.
What a nice outfit for Muffie!! She is going to absolutely love this!!
