1954 ~ MUFFIE DOLL~ SUITCASE with COMPLETE CONTENTS ~ HTF ~ NANCY ANN

Description

Up for your consideration is Muffie's Cardboard Suitcase from 1954. This suitcase is #920 and is shown on page 57 in the book "The Muffle Puzzle - New Pieces" by Lillian Roth and Heather Maciak. You will receive the suitcase, a nightgown, a robe, a pair of slippers, a towel, a mirror, a comb, some curlers and a hanger. Everything you see in the photos. This is the complete contents of the suitcase. Please look at all the photos and use the enlarger as the photos are part of my description. If you have any questions, please ask them before you bid.
The cardboard suitcase has seen better days. It is split in two and the handle is missing. One corner on the lid is also ripped. It can be fixed up and is the Nancy Ann original suitcase for Muffie. One of the symbols on the side of the suitcase says "Nancy NA Ann". It had been taped together but, the tape dried out and there is also a place on the inside where a sticker might have been. I know all this sounds bad but, it doesn't really look too bad.
The first thing packed in the suitcase is a beautiful nightgown. It is made out of the Morning Glory fabric that some of Muffie's dresses are made out of. It is in very nice condition with no holes, tears or stains. I think it was suppose to have ties on it but, there are none and it doesn't look like there ever was.
Up next is the light aqua robe. It has tiny black polka dots and blue roses with green leaves printed on it. This robe is in very nice condition.
The slippers are original Muffie slippers and have a pink metal riveted rosette on the toe end of each slipper. They have fuzzy soles. The outer edge is a little ragged but, they are otherwise in nice condition. I have them stuffed with tissue to protect their shape.
The big blue Muffie towel is also an original item that came with the suitcase. It is in very good condition.
You will also receive a pink plastic comb and mirror. The comb has a little engraved design on one side and is very nice with no broken teeth. The mirror also has a design on the handle and the silver is flaked in two small places on the mirror part.
Three pink soft rubber curlers are also included and they are in perfect condition.
To round up everything, the last item is a blue Muffie plastic hanger. It is embossed "Storybook Dolls" and is in fine condition.
It has been a while since I have seen a Muffie Suitcase on eBay and even longer one that has all the contents. It's not perfect but, it is also not too bad.
Shipping is .00 by First Class Mail and includes tracking. If you would prefer Priority Mail, please email me before you pay and I will adjust the invoice. I will carefully pack this outfit in a small box so it arrives safe and sound to you.
